We are aware of a number of short-stories by B. M. Croker. Some were later published in books, but others seem to be stand-alone shorts?   • A Comedy of Correspondence. Published in "Pearson's Magazine" (August 1904).

  • The Chowkedar. Published in "The Onlooker" (9 December 1905) and in Ash-Tree Press "Annual Macabre" (2000).

  • The Cap That Fitted. (below). Published in "The Illustrated London News". (16 November 1901 pp 735-6, illustration by Allan Stewart) and in her book "The Old Cantonment" (1905). **

  • The Mad Englishman. Published in "The Cavalier" (October 1909).
