Declan Coyne from South Roscommon is a great music fan and has organised and continues to organise various music festivals and sessions throughout the county. He has produced two books on Roscommon musicians and music. He is MC for South Roscommon Singers Circle and was involved in the Celtic Links Festival. He helps produce the annual Knockcroghery Singers Festival & Annie McNulty Awards. He has been involved in the production of a number of music CDs including Freddie Shaw All Stars, South Roscommon Singers Circle CDs and the Celtic Links CD. He has been known on occasion to sing a bar of a song himself!
