Donal (or Donie) O'Connor is from Boyle, Co. Roscommon. He is a singer / songwriter who has produced two albums to date. His interest in music began in the 1960's when, as a youngster, he was fascinated by the many showbands that played in St. Joseph's Hall, near his home. He learned to play the guitar and after some travel, he produced his first album as a mark of achievement, as he approached his 40th. birthday. He hasn't stopped since. He has toured extensively, including Germany, the U.K. and America. We heard him play in Murray's Bar, Knockcroghery and can highly recommend his music.
