Roscommon Feis Cheóil.

Roscommon Feiseanna are annual Irish language, dancing and music festivals run by Connradh na Gaeilge. The first Feise Móire was held in 1924 in Rath Cruachán (Rathcroghan, near Tulsk). Another competition was held in Strokestown a few years later, but we don't have any material concerning that event, and it would seem that the annual outing eventually returned to Rathcroghan and remained there for a number of years. If you have a history of the Feis in Roscommon please contact us.
