Pascal Brennan was born in
Portlaoise but has spent most of his life in
Lecarrow in South Roscommon.
He is married to Mary Travers from Athlone, and they have three
children, Declan, Justin and Aimee. Pascal has been singing for many years. He was a boy soprano, coached by the late Claire O'Byrne in Athlone and began his musical career in 1969 with "The Avengers". He then moved to "The Kieran Kelly Band" before fronting "Pascal Brennan & The Shannon Breeze" for over 30 years. He now sings solo. He is a big fan of the legendary Joe Dolan and sings many of Joe's greatest songs. He has recently had a big hit with the Joe Dolan Tribute Show in which he is joined on stage by his daughter Aimee and many other musicians and entertainers. In 2009 Pascal released a Robert Da Nova penned single called "Suzy Loves You". (Da Nova had previously written a number of hit songs for the late Joe Dolan). Pascal has been recording songs for many years and has produced six albums and four singles (2009). His first album, "Only You" was released in 1989 and was a great success in Ireland and the UK. In 2004 he released "Heart Strings" and "Gems". In 2007 "I'll Walk With God" was released, with proceeds going to charity. (On this album he sings "The Prayer" with his daughter Aimee and this song just has to be heard to be believed. Angelic is the only word for it). This is our collection of
Pascal Brennan material.
