County Roscommon Committee of Agriculture. This is our collection of County Roscommon Committee of Agriculture Annual Reports. Each county had its own committee and they all produced annual reports. Roscommon Committee was active from the 1930's right up to the 1980's. Annual reports were sent to every farm in the county but despite this they are not common. Reports are a very useful synopsis of the overall state of farming in the county for the previous year. They also have information on weather patters, crop growth, new farming practices etc. and are invaluable as an historical resource. This collection is not complete. All images are linked to larger ones and these can be seen by clicking on the image.
