What can be said about a persons last will & testament? In genealogy and family history these are "gold dust". Not only do they give names and dates, they carry the signatures (or sometimes the mark) of our long dead ancestor. Illustrated below are some copies of wills we have in our archive. Certified copy (left) of portion of record in Will Book 1868, held at the Public Records Office, Dublin (and destroyed in the explosion in1922) for Sarah Morton of Lisroyne House, widow. Copy of a will (centre) of John McHugh of Strokestown dated 8 May 1900 and the Last Will & Testament of Honoria McGuff of Tibohine dated 21st October 1895.
