Mary McAleese, the eight President of Ireland, has connections to Roscommon through her fathers family and has a holiday home in the county, which she visits regularly. The leaflet below is for an early foray into politics with Fianna Fáil in the Dublin South-East Constituency. The leaflet at the bottom is for her first, and successful, candidacy for president.
