Roscommon Bookshop

Leo & Riona McGuinness opened Roscommon Bookshop after working in a similar capacity in Loughrea, Co. Galway for many years. Over  the years they made many friends and people would travel out of their way to visit "the only real bookshop" in the area. The town of Roscommon and Athlone is at a loss for the closing. The nearest "real" bookshop now is about 30 miles away!

Roscommon Bookshop closed towards the end of 2007. The Roscommon Champion's Noel Fallon said it all.

Leo & Riona continue in business as Roscommon Framing and can be contacted by clicking on the following link.
