Roscommon Maps Want-List.

We are always looking for maps or cartographical material for Roscommon to add to our collection. We know of the following maps, which we don't have, but would like to add to our archive. If you have them please contact us. Thanks you.

  • World War Two (Emergency) maps produced for the Irish Army. Overlaid with 10 mile square grid lines in red. (Similar to British Army maps of the period but printed at the Ordnance Survey in Dublin). We have a couple of examples from the midlands but none from Roscommon. We will trade what we have for Roscommon examples. Please contact us.

  • Dunlop Touring Map No. 39 (of 88 for all of UK & Ireland), Mid-West Ireland, including Athlone & Roscommon. Johnston, Edinburgh. 4 miles to the inch. ca. 1910.

  • Russian (USSR) maps of the West of Ireland (Roscommon or including Roscommon) produced during the cold-war era. We know these were produced for the east of the country. Were they also printed for the west?

  • Ordnance Survey six inch maps of the county. Contact us if you have any.

  • Tourist and touring maps of any kind and from any date?

  • Privately printed maps - estate maps, solicitors maps, local groups etc.

  • Maps of Lough Ree or Lough Key or other Navigational Charts or maps for the Roscommon area?

This list is not exhaustive. If you have any maps of Roscommon that you no longer require, please contact us.
