Roscommon Railways.

There are three rail lines crossing Roscommon - Dublin to Galway, Dublin/Athlone to Mayo and Dublin to Sligo. There is also an unused line to Ballaghaderreen. We hope to develop this page into a useful source for the history of the various railways and rail companies that have used the lines in Co. Roscommon over the years. In the meantime we have placed images of some of the documents in our archive on the site, and also some of the photographs we have. We hope that this will keep you happy for the moment. If you have anything that you might like to offer, either to our archive or for illustrating the site, or if you would like to contribute to the history of Roscommon railways, please contact us.
