Frank Feighan TD - Committed to Politics!

Frank Feighan  was born on 4 July 1962. He hails from Boyle in North Roscommon. He is a Fine Gael politician for the Roscommon-South Leitrim constituency, elected to the Dáil in the 2007 general election. He is Deputy Spokesperson on Transport & Education, with Special Responsibility for Rural and School Transport. He was formerly a member of the 22nd Seanad Éireann, elected on the Administrative Panel in July 2002. He was Fine Gael's Spokesperson on Arts, Sports and Tourism in the Upper House.

Frank is a self-employed businessman, educated at St. Mary's College, Boyle, and is very active in all aspects of local community work. He was first elected to Roscommon County Council in 1999 for the Boyle electoral area, topping the poll. He served on the Council until 2003.
