In 2004 John decided to help others with their research and brought out his first data CD "Resource County Roscommon Ireland - Databases, Source Material and Maps for Local & Family Historians". This CD was very well received and it was followed in 2006 by Disk 2, an updated version of the original. In 2009 a third and much improved edition appeared and a revised edition again appeared in 2011.
