Derrane.

Derrane is situated in the Parish of Kilbride just off the main road from Roscommon to Ballyleague. The church is located on top of a natural rise, overlooking the surrounding area. The church was built in 1858 and rededicated in 2008.

The rededication ceremony was conducted by Bishop Christopher Jones at a special Mass celebrated on 12th. September 2008. Also present were the Parish Priest of Kilbride, Fr. Raymond Browne and the curate Fr. Eamon Conaty.
