Loughlynn Industries visit to New York in 1904 - 05. A rare and interesting pamphlet from 1904/5 for the visit of members of Loughglynn School of Industries to New York. They were brought to the International Exposition by Fr. Michael O'Flanagan, a native of the Parish! Also illustrated are some contemporary New York newspaper reports of the event. Loughglynn School of Industries eventually moved to Foxford in Co. Mayo where it's successor, "Foxford Woollen Mills" still survives today! Loughglynn Convent was recently sold for development.
