The first meeting of St. John's Parish Heritage Group was held to 10 July 2002. The photographs on the left show three members of the committee and the general gathering on the night. Michael Conlon gives his talk on 28 February 2003 and Diane Rose Dunnigan, after the AGM, on 1 July 2003.
Dr. Harman Murtagh brings locals on a Guided Tour of Rindoon on 2 November 2003. Albert Siggins gives his talk on 27 November 2003. Councillor Paddy Kilduff, Vice-Chairman of St. John's Parish Heritage Group, makes a presentation of a Knockcroghery Clay Pipe to Rosaleen Fallon after her talk on 10 March 2004 and to Dr. Kieran O'Conor, after his talk on 10 May 2004.
Dr. Kieran O'Conor brings the local population on a Guided Tour of Rindoon on 19 September 2004. The late Fr. Sean Kelly CC St. John's & First President of St. John's Parish Heritage Group makes a presentation to Charlie Finneran of Derryglad Folk Museum after the AGM of 25 January 2005. A view of Kilcommon Graveyard, before work began (2004) and as it progressed during 2005.
The work continues on Kilcommon Graveyard during 2005, until finally, on 17 July, Fr. Donal Morris, CC St. John's, prepares for the first Mass to be held in the cemetery for many, many years.
