Roscommon Active Age Groups was founded by Tommy Murray, then Adult Education Officer with Co. Roscommon Vocational Educational Committee (VEC), and still energetically engaged in their activities. The philosophy of the group is that older people in rural areas should be able to contribute to their community and to society. Over the years the group has produced many yearbooks and a number of shorter, mainly poetry works. This is our collection. (We are missing some of the earlier editions, if you have same and would like to help complete our collection, please contact us).
